The new Lexus RC was unveiled about a month ago, but it really got some time to shine at this year’s Paris Auto Show. The goal was to give this Lexus model a “new-found sense of elegance.” The exterior changes are definitely drawing some influence from the high-end Lexus LC. You’ll notice a new mesh grille pattern, an updated bumper, small triple LED headlights, and new air ducts for the rear bumper. The redesigned Lexus RC also has a wider stance and better handling and driving response as a result.
Inside, an analog clock is probably the first thing to stand out. This feature, found in the Lexus LC, is soon going to be an “identifying feature” for Lexus coupe models. The new Lexus RC will also offer a variety of trim options and interior color combos, so it’s easy to build a luxury coupe that you’ll love.
Other than these mostly cosmetic upgrades, the new Lexus RC is also getting an updated fine-tuned suspension with new shock absorbers, stiffer bushings, and improved throttle response. Add in a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, and you have a driving experience that’s tough to beat.
