The Lexus HS was the manufacturer’s first dedicated hybrid vehicle, produced from 2009 to 2018. Powered by a 2.4-liter 2AZ-FXE inline-four engine and an electric motor generating a combined 187 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque, it was prized as much for its handling as its luxury features. It was innovative, too, with an available exhaust heat recovery system that helped minimize engine startup time.
Lexus SC
The Lexus SC stood out among its peers as a truly remarkable luxury vehicle. With seating for up to four, this front-engine vehicle featured sleek curves and an elegant body shape that turned heads from 1991 to 2010. The second generation re-engineered the vehicle as a convertible, creating a luxury car with a retro-futuristic aesthetic.
