At Keyes Lexus, we’re always excited to hear more about a new Lexus model. According to recent rumors one Lexus vehicle, the Lexus CT 200h, is on its way out. Its replacement will be an entry-level model, and it might just end up being a green crossover.
The Lexus CT 200h would be on the market for another two years or so before it drives off into the sunset. That would make it around a decade old when it gets retired. We’re sad to see a great model go, but we’re excited to welcome a stylish new replacement vehicle that might capture the attention of drivers everywhere.
The replacement would be built on the new TNGA platform. This architecture can actually be used to build a wide range of models, from cars to crossovers. Recent reports indicate that the replacement for the Lexus CT 200h would likely be a crossover though. It’s not a big surprise, considering how popular crossovers are right now, and this small one could be ideal for drivers who are new to the segment. This new vehicle would be more compact than the 2019 Lexus UX.
