Here at Keyes Lexus, we love when an old favorite model makes a return. The Lexus CT hatchback was recently discontinued, but it looks like a new model is in the works. Drivers looking for a more luxurious green hatchback could soon be in luck.
The previous Lexus CT model was seven years old, meaning that it’s ripe for a refresh. It was just pulled from the market in the United States, but fortunately, it could be making a comeback sooner than expected. So far we know that a hybrid model is in the works, which is no surprise based on the last-generation version of the Lexus CT, and we also know that an all-electric version is potentially on the way.
The hybrid version might be powered by a 2.0-liter engine that can put out 177 horsepower, similar to the one found in a European model known as the Toyota Auris. While we’re not sure about the electric version just yet, we know that both of these new Lexus cars will employ the latest green technology. Expect to see incredible fuel economy numbers and an all-electric range that impresses.
The Lexus CT is just one part of the Lexus brand’s ambitious green car plans. Expect to see more stylish vehicles that break the mold in the coming years. Each will offer cutting-edge tech and many of the features you’ve come to expect from this luxury brand. We can’t wait to learn more about this green hatchback!
