The Los Angeles and Glendale customers served by Keyes Lexus are an exacting lot. They’re lucky. The Keyes Lexus family and the Lexus brand are no less exacting in the standards we set for our product, our sales process, and our service. The 2017 Lexus models have a lot to live up to, but we’re up to the task and confident that the upcoming Lexus models won’t disappoint.
Some 2017 models will be very similar to their 2016 counterparts. The popular Lexus GS F and Lexus RC/RC F, the Lexus LX, the Lexus ES350/ES300h and the 2017 Lexus CT 200h will see relatively few changes. However, the models listed below will have some surprises in store for the upcoming year.
2017 Lexus GS350 F Sport: Better traction and torque distribution are in the offing thanks to a limited-slip differential.
2017 Lexus IS: A mid-generation design refresh brings new bumpers, new taillights, a more aggressive front grille, and new exhaust finishers. No changes are being made under the hood, but the interior is another story. A new 10.3-inch display will provide easier access to the Enform infotainment system, while standard LED headlights illuminate the road ahead. The 2017 Lexus IS F Sport will now also feature fully-functional front brake ducts.
2017 Lexus LC: After an agonizing wait, the 2017 Lexus LC arrives in the Spring of next year. It’s a sports car in all but name, thanks to a sleek style backed by a stiffer body structure and a 5.0 liter V-8 engine that puts out 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque. That engine is coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission, so the powertrain should give sports car level performance whether it carries the name or not. With is dual electric motors and multistage transmission, the Lexus LC 500h hybrid should also have some pleasant surprises in store.
2017 Lexus RX350/RX450h: On the one hand, the automaker is discontinuing the FWD hybrid in favor of an AWD-only model. On the other hand, both the gas and hybrid variants of the 2017 Lexus RX will now be available in FWD F Sport trim.
The Lexus brand has a reputation for reliability, but Los Angeles drivers have long demanded more than that. Luckily for them, the automaker exceeds expectations by also delivering luxury, style, and — don’t forget — the kind of driving experience that you long for from a luxury car.
